On March 11 at 2:46pm, a massive 8.9-magnitude earthquake occurred near the jointure eastern coast of Japan. This spawned a deadly tsunami that slammed into the small island nation yet minutes afterwards the earthquake, leaving a huge amount of devastation in its wake.
